On May 2021, she released her debut single "Build a Bitch," which became the biggest debut for a new artist in YouTube history. It has over 250M views and 10M likes on YouTube. It's one of the only three videos from 2021 to reach 10 million likes on YouTube, BTS's "Butter" & "Permission to Dance" being the others.

Poarch is a U.S. Navy veteran. She enlisted in the Navy in 2017 as an aviation ordnanceman and served for three years, having been stationed in Japan and Hawaii.
