Before Fame

He was born in Lumberton, North Carolina. He attended South Plantation High School in Plantation, Florida, before going to Florida State University, where he earned both a degree in criminal studies and his Juris Doctor.

In college, he was a member of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity. In 2023, he began representing the family of Malcolm X.
