Bruce Buffer has been the Official Voice of the Octagon for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) since 1996 and with many other mixed martial arts events worldwide and is recognized internationally as The Voice of Mixed Martial Arts.

As a teenager, he earned a black belt in tang soo do. He then spent a decade as a kickboxer but was forced to give up the sport as a result of complications from concussions.
