Christopher Atkins is an born Christopher Atkins Bomann in 1961, is an American actor, writer, and producer, best known for his role in "The Blue Lagoon" (1980). He also appeared in "The Pirate Movie" (1982) and "A Night in Heaven" (1983). 

As a teenager, he worked as a sailing instructor and a lifeguard.

He was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year in 1980.

He married Lyn Barron, with whom he had two children before their divorce in 1985.
