Corn Kid is a song by The Gregory Brothers that remixes portions of an August 2022 interview of Tariq Tull on Recess Therapy. The song was released on August 28, 2022, on YouTube and went viral on social media platforms. After the interview, seven-year-old Tariq was dubbed the CEO of Corn and nicknamed the Corn Kid.

Before Fame

The famous corn kid interview happened during the food festival at Brooklyn's Prospect Park.  Tariq was attending to enjoy a fun day at the festival when he was approached for the interview.

Trivia

The interview was conducted by comedian Julian Shapiro-Barnum. Julian was the host of Recess Therapy in the summer of 2022.  The Governor of South Dakota declared September 3, 2022, as "Official Corn-bassador Tariq Day".  To kick off the announcement, Tariq visited the Corn Palace in Mitchell, South Dakota.
