Joseph Jens Price is a former HVAC technician and amateur singer. He is best known as the husband of former figure skater, Tonya Harding. Joseph began to hog the limelight after walking down the aisle with Tonya, who had sent the national media into a tizzy after being involved in the infamous attack on fellow skater Nancy Kerrigan in 1994. Joseph’s wedding with Tonya Harding caught the attention of national and international media for various reasons. Early Life & Career

Joseph Jens Price was born in Yacolt, Washington, United States of America. After completing his education, Joseph took up several odd jobs. He then started working as a HVAC technician and was an expert in heating and air conditioning systems. He then took up a job at a local karaoke bar called ‘Timbers.’ Since Joseph was good at singing, he was assigned the job of keeping the customers entertained. While performing one of his favorite songs, he caught the attention of Tonya Harding, who had visited ‘Timbers’ at the time of his performance.

Relationship with Tonya Harding

When Tonya was impressed by Joseph’s singing skills, she wanted to know him better. Joseph and Tonya dated for a few months before Tonya decided to take the relationship to the next level. Tonya proposed marriage to Joseph and he was more than happy to agree. The couple walked down the aisle on June 23, 2010. At the time of their wedding, Joseph Price was 42 years old, while Tonya Harding was 39 years old.

In one of her interviews, Tonya said that she fell in love with Joseph for his beautiful eyes. She also said that she had never met anyone who is as kind as her husband. She believes that Joseph loves her for who she really is and not for her skating abilities and popularity. On February 19, 2011, Joseph Price and Tonya were blessed with a son, whom they named Gordon. Both Tonya and Joseph said that the birth of their son is the best thing that has ever happened to them. Joseph Jens Price currently works as a woodworker and Tonya often lends him a hand and helps him in finishing his assignments.
