She gained fame after being cast as Jessie Novoa on Nickelodeon's hit series Every Witch Way. In 2020, she began playing Wheezie Cameron on the Netflix series Outer Banks. 

Her TV brother Rahart Adams announced her casting over Twitter in a tweet that read "Everybody meet Julia Antonelli! This bundle of joy is Jessie Novoa, Jax's little sister!"

She played her same role as Jessie in W.I.T.s Academy.
