Michael Urie is an Born in Houston, Texas; raised in Plano, Texas. Michael began his collegiate studies at the acclaimed Quad C Theater program at Collin County Community College in Plano, Texas. Michael graduated from the Drama Division of The Juilliard School in 2003. He was the recipient of the prestigious John Houseman prize in 2002.

He is a huge fan of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons and Neil Diamond.
