NLE Choppa known professionally as NLE Choppa previously YNR Choppa, is an American rapper and YouTuber from Memphis, Tennessee. He gained recognition with the release of his 2019 single "Shotta Flow", which received platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America RIAA and peaked within the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100. The song preceded his debut extended play EP, Cottonwood, in December of that year.

Potts signed with Warner Records to release his debut studio album Top Shotta 2020, which peaked within the top ten of the US Billboard 200 and was supported by the top 40 singles "Camelot" and "Walk Em Down" featuring Roddy Ricch. His fourth and fifth mixtapes, From Dark to Light 2020 and Me vs. Me 2022 preceded the release of his second studio album Cottonwood 2 2023, which contained his highest-charting single, "Slut Me Out" remixed featuring Sexyy Red.

He first caught the attention of the hip hop world as part of a music video called "No Chorus Pt 3" which was uploaded by Memphis rap collective Shotta Fam.

The NLE of his name stands for No Love Entertainment.  He grew on TikTok to surpass 20 million followers.

His real name is Bryson Potts, and he is from Memphis, Tennessee. His mother Angeleta Potts is his manager. In June 2020, he welcomed a daughter named Clover with his ex-girlfriend Mariah, known on Instagram as Gorgeeoussss. He dated Instagram star Yung Blasian. In December 2021, he announced he and his partner, Marissa Da'Nae, are expecting a son. In March 2022, the couple announced that their son, Seven, had passed away. He and Marissa broke up in late 2022. In April 2023, she announced she was pregnant again. They welcomed their second child, ChoZen Wone, in August 2023.
