Perry Caravello is an American actor, comedian, streamer, and skateboarder. He is best known for his starring role in the 2003 movie Windy City Heat, as well as being a member of the comedy group The Big 3; a group which also features comedian Don Barris and Perry's best friend Walter "Mole" Molinski (real name Tony Barbieri). He is currently the host of Perry Caravello Live (PCL). He is also known by the nicknames "Scary Perry" and "The Scaremaster".

Early Life

Originally from the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Caravello was born in Park Ridge and lived there before moving to Des Plaines, Barrington, Palatine, and Arlington Heights. He moved with his family to Southern California in 1974. In 1979, three weeks after getting his driver's license, he was injured in a car accident that left him in a coma for three weeks, resulting in brain trauma.
Caravello started acting and standup comedy around 1988, inspired by his idol Sam Kinison. Early in his career he was trying to get standup spots at The Comedy Store, when an open mic host named Don Barris gave him a challenge to shave his own chest onstage with a razor and no soap. Caravello did the stunt and was given a regular spot at the comedy club. Don's discovery of Perry was the genesis of the Big 3 comedy trio. Caravello has alleged that in 1992 he was coerced into giving a handjob to a male casting director, where in turn, he received fellatio in order to get a role in a movie. This incident would end up becoming a recurring joke on The Big 3 podcast and Perry Caravello Live. In the early 90s he appeared in the movie Tehachapi, which was later renamed to Across The Moon. Some of his fondest memories from this event include the time he offered a slice of cake to actress Christina Applegate, his meeting with the actor Tony Cox, and his life long friendship with the casting agent that got him the gig. Perry has also appeared in the movies Virtuosity as "The Popcorn Kid", Austin Powers: Goldmember as a prisoner, and the direct-to-video film The Bank Job (not to be confused with the Jason Statham movie).
