Pewdiepie was born to his parents in Gothenburg, Sweden. Pewdiepie's parents Johanna and Ulf Kjellberg are both highly respected executives at their respective organizations in Sweden. During his childhood, Pewdiepie was highly interested in arts and has expressed his interest that he would draw renowned video game characters such as Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog, as well as play video games on his Super Nintendo Entertainment System. During Pewdiepie school days in Goteborgs Hogre Samskola, Sweden, he used to miss his classes to play video games at an Internet cafe with his friends.  He further joined the Chalmers University of Technology, to attain a degree in industrial economics and technology management.
