His third wife and Sophia’s mother, Jennifer Flavin, has been the source of inspiration for her daughters. The Stallone sisters share a common middle name which is ‘Rose’. Sophia has an older half-brother named Seargeoh. Her eldest half-brother, Sage, had an untimely death in 2012 due to a massive cardiac arrest.

Sophia had a hole in the heart when she was just two and a half months old. The newborn Sophia underwent an open heart surgery at the UCLA Medical Center. Post the surgery, Sophia was kept on an extremely strict lifestyle, which included healthy-balanced diet and zero physical activity. It took her years to recover fully and now she is leading a normal life.
