Travis Tyson is a promising figure blending the worlds of science and entertainment, is making waves as more than just the son of renowned astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson. Born in 2001 in the United States, Travis has embarked on a journey to carve out his own identity, independent of his father’s immense scientific legacy. While the Tyson name is well-known in science, Travis is making strides to establish himself, blending his academic pursuits with public engagements that show he’s more than a famous child.

He graduated from Stuyvesant High School. 

In July 2017, he appeared with his family on the ABC show Family Feud hosted by Steve Harvey. His family faced off against Rick Fox's team. He and his family won $25,000 for charity. 

His parents married in 1988. His older sister is named Miranda Tyson.

His father and Linus Pauling are both respected scientists
